Inprint Margarett Root Brown Reading Series, celebrating National Poetry Month, presents poets Ada Limón and Gregory Pardlo. Limón’s poetry collection “Bright Dead Things” was a finalist for the National Book Award and named one of The New York Times Top Ten Poetry Books of the Year. Pardlo’s second collection “Digest” won the Pulitzer Prize and according to The Washington Spectator, “deftly evoke[s] sociology, jazz, philosophy, African-American lit, Russian cinema, Greek mythology, European travel, film noir, hip hop, and a host of other topics.”
