10 Great Apartment Decor Discount Shops

Joss & Main. This flash-sale site offers big discounts (up to 70%) on designer furniture like living room sets, dining tables, patio furniture and beds. They also feature home goods like rugs, pillows, wall decor and more. Heck, right now they even have a sale on bikes; proving that you never know what kind of big sales you stumble upon. Most of their sales last only three days, so you’ll want to jump on board as soon as you see something you love.

eBay. Tried and trusted, eBay is an amazing resource for finding authentic pieces of vintage furniture for auction prices. Even if you’re not looking for something vintage, you can often find brand-new home goods or furniture for so much less than the retail price. And remember that awesome accent chair you loved so much from last spring’s Anthropologie home collection? It may not be available on their site anymore, but you just may find it on eBay.

Overstock. Overstock is one of my go-to sites for finding inexpensive home furnishings. They’ve got a huge selection, and often their already-discounted goods go on extra sale (Need a four-piece dining chair set for less than $150? This is your place). What’s more, if you don’t care about labels (and the huge price tags that come with them), Overstock has some pretty killer knockoff-style pieces of furniture that look just like your favorite Mid-Century designers.

One Kings Lane. Another curated flash-sale site that offers seriously stylish home decor (and great gifts, too) at slashed prices. In addition to offering deals on designer goods, One Kings Lane also partners with vintage and antiques dealers for one-of-a-kind items for a steal. Be sure to check the upcoming events page for sales you won’t want to miss.

Fab. For a relative newcomer, Fab has seriously impressed me with their collection of incredibly cool, well-designed products that you won’t find on most other online retailers. They’re not always running a huge sale, but they are always offering up the coolest of cool in home decor. Actually, right now they’ve got a big Annual Spring Home Design Sale, with home goods reduced up to 40% through Sunday, April 27th. Hop on over and check out their stuff—it’s all so fun.

Chairish. Chairish is sort of like Craigslist…if you didn’t have to wade through all the junk to find the good stuff. It’s a site where design lovers can buy and sell pre-owned furniture and decor that have been approved by the site’s curators. On this site, you can comb through categories like seating, lighting, cabinets, decor and more, and if you find something you love, you can make an offer directly to the seller, who will ship the item straight to your door.

Vintage American Home. Another site like Craigslist, where buyers can search for and purchase American-made vintage furniture directly from sellers across the country. Items can be shipped to you at a flat rate, or you can check to see if the seller is from your area, and can arrange a safe pick up directly.

Wayfair. The biggest home-decor-centered e-commerce site offers a huge selection (boasting more than seven million home products from thousands of brands) at various price points. Basically, if you’re looking for it, they’ve got it (or something like it) at a price you can likely afford. You can also join their rewards program, which offers 3% back on every purchase (to be applied toward future purchases).

Home Decorators Collection. This site offers everything from rugs to lighting to outdoor decor and even garage organization…at shockingly low prices. Shop by room, by style or by category. You can even order custom upholstery on select seating and headboards. Want to skip the shipping cost? Head down to their Chicago store to see it in person.

MyHabit. MyHabit is a flash site from online retail giant Amazon. With new events daily at 9 a.m., MyHabit offers up to 60% off designer and boutique brands. You can log in and buy using your existing Amazon account, and most items purchased through MyHabit ship free throughout the U.S. Though it’s not strictly a home decor site, they’ve got a great selection and awesome prices.
