Pizaro’s Pizza: Delicious Pies Near 7 Seventy

Pizaro’s owner Bill Hutchinson learned how to make pizza in Naples.

Can you get better than that?

Bill and Gloria are always touring Italy, learning from the masters. Houston locals say it pays off. This your dream of Neapolitian pizza, thin, crispy, sweet, delicate, rich, savory, and fragrant, cooked in a 900-degree oven for a minute and a half. The margherita can’t be beat, but locals say that the potato and mushroom pie — made with truffle oil — is out of this world.

Pizaro’s is BYOB, meaning that a night out comes cheap. There’s no delivery either, but who cares? When it’s this good you won’t mind a few hours away from 7 Seventy.
